ESTABLISHMENT OF HIGH-FIDELITY SIMULATION LABORATORY TO STRENGTHEN CLINICAL COMPETENCE AND PATIENT-SAFETY EDUCATION IN NURSING
Main Article Content
Abstract
Background: Simulation-based learning is an effective and engaging approach to training that utilizes simulated environments, activities, and scenarios to help students learn, apply their knowledge, and develop their skills. Simulation as a teaching method consists of activities that mimic an actual clinical environment and have been designed to illustrate processes, decision-making, and critical thinking through techniques such as role-plays, educational films, models, scenarios, and case studies.
Aim/Objective: Aim/objective of this project is to establish a fully functional High-Fidelity Simulation Lab.
Conclusion: HFSL need a strong leadership and financial support from administration. HFSL providing a safe, controlled, and immersive environment, the lab will empower nursing students to develop essential clinical skills, improve their decision-making and critical thinking, and gain confidence before entering live clinical settings.
